Lawmaker linked to anomalous flood control projects in US for medical reasons, says House spokesman

This confirmed reports that Co was currently out of the country amid investigation into anomalous flood control projects, some of which involved his company, Sunwest Construction.

Co is also tagged by Navotas Rep. Tobias Tiangco as among those who had requested billions of pesos of funds from the Department of Public Works and Highways for his district.
